  6. MidiPlay 2.11 can play format 0 and 1 MIDI files. It can also print their
  7. contents. This version requires KS 2.04 or greater. New features in 2.11
  8. include:
  9. o separate tasks for GUI and the player
  10. o font sensitivity
  11. o more GM support: drum map
  12. o more keyboard shortcuts
  13. o fast forward
  14. o loading/saving/removing of the playlist
  15. o time remain/elapsed or current measure/number of measures can be seen
  16. o many files can be loaded (all selected workbench icons or CLI arguments)
  17.  
  18. New features in 2.0:
  19. o grahpical user interface lets you load and play MIDI files easily
  20. o a lyric field
  21. o tempo can be changed moving the tempo slider
  22. o GM support: program change mapping
  23. o files can be played from the playlist
  24. o the reset message resets MIDI equipments to the factory setup
  25.  
  26. Other features:
  27. - MIDI channels can be muted or soloed
  28. - MIDI events can be transposed
  29. - program change and pitch bender message filter
  30. - external and internal sync
